About Owner, Maggie Valdez

As a second-generation entrepreneur and owner of MVI MFG, Maggie Valdez knows the value of hard work and commitment to the customer. Valdez describes her work ethic as, “staying open minded, not taking things too personal and being willing to invest in the company and yourself – to always be learning.”

When Valdez took over MVI MFG from the previous owner, she was working in the fashion industry and decided to make the jump into automotive industry. “I knew what hard work was – my family owns and operates a successful automotive bumper repair business, S&S Bumper Repair, Inc., so I grew up around the industry and I know the demands. But I saw an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a woman business owner in a male-dominated field, where I could learn so much about business – and I jumped on it!
